Request Summary: We are a non-profit supporting war-displaced Ukrainians in Canada and are seeking the following to support our research: 1) We are seeking data with regards to the Canada Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel program that provides details on # of applicants, # of arrivals, and summary demographic profile data of these two, including time of arrival/application (by week), age groups, gender groups, country the application was received from, port of entry, and city of settlement. Other summary internal statistics on CUAET applicants is also requested (e.g., approval rates). 2) Statistics on the profile and number of people that have applied for PR with a CUAET visa, how many have received PR with a CUAET visa, and how many are pending review for PR under federal programs - including express entry and humanitarian and compassionate (H&C) considerations, from the beginning of CUAET (March 2022) up to the end of April 2024. 3) Funding: We would like information on how much money was distributed to CUAET holders through one-time payments to adults and children (CUTAI), and payments made to organizations supporting CUAET holders as distributed by IRCC. Any data/policy memos that have assessed the economic contributions/economic impact by CUAET holders on the Canadian economy. 4) Federal-Provincial Communications/Coordination on CUAET: if there are any correspondence, presentations, and reports made by the IRCC with provincial ministers of immigration with regards to CUAET holders, PR programs, and other joint coordination is also requested up until the most recent available (e.g., the May 10th announcement regarding coordination between federal/provincial immigration ministries, including on CUAET holders: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/2024/05/federal-provincial-territorial-immigration-ministers-commit-to-ongoing-collaboration-to-strengthen-the-immigration-system.html) We have received the information previously, and are requesting the raw data as scans have not been clear and are not legible - so if we could receive both PDFs and Excel files, that would be appreciated.
