Request Summary: Please provide any emails, memos, discussion notes or handouts specifically pertaining to Study Permit Extension applications for students in Canada who are either changing their Designated Learning Institution (DLI) or their program of study within the same DLI. The new regulations stipulate that students changing their DLI or program must apply for a new study permit. Please limit the search to emails and documents related to the program area overseen by Leanne MacWilliams or any other branch/team responsible for all in-Canada Study Permit applications. Please exclude any documents that may require consultations with the Privy Council Office (PCO) or the Department of Justice (DOJ) and any Cabinet Confidences. Please limit the search to the time period November 01, 2024 to December 10, 2024. Mark all Cabinet Confidences as non-relevant.
