Request Summary: Pursuant to the Access to Information Act, I am requesting access to the following records from the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) between June 8, 2023, and January 22, 2024: Any meeting minutes, briefing notes, internal reports, or memoranda that discuss the overall strategy, implementation, analysis of stakeholder feedback, or decision-making process for the Indigenous National Housing Centre or the Urban, Rural and Northern Indigenous Housing Strategy. Of specific interest is the transition towards and decision to develop an RFP (002627) for the National Indigenous Housing Centre. The spirit of this request is to understand the broader context, decision-making process and timeline surrounding the Indigenous National Housing Centre and the Urban, Rural and Northern Indigenous Housing Strategy, including any discussions or factors that may have influenced the choice to go to an RFP (002627). To be clear, this request does not seek any information regarding the technical components of the RFP process or the submissions themselves. Of interest is relevant documentation related to the decision to go to RFP for the National Indigenous Housing Centre.
