Request Summary: I am interested in learning about the inaugural International Culture Collections Symposium held in Ottawa in 1962. Some of the proceedings were published in a book edited by S. M. Martin of the NRC; however I want to know more about the planning, the organization, and the impact of the meeting short and long term....and especially how Ottawa was chosen for this. So far it seems LAC holds several relevant but "restricted files" -- I believe last file in this list is probably open.
