Request Summary: Pursuant to the Access to Information Act, I am requesting access to the following records from the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) between June 8, 2023, and January 22, 2024: The full content, Including attachments, of any emails, comments, feedback, or correspondence received by CMHC from external or government stakeholders, including but not limited to Ministerial or political staff, Indigenous organizations, housing advocates, industry associations, and private sector companies, that mention the National Indigenous Housing Centre, the Urban, Rural and Northern Indigenous Housing Strategy, or the potential use of a competitive bidding, proposal, or tender process linked to the eventual creation of RFP002627. To be clear, this request does not seek any information about the technical components of the RFP process or the submissions themselves. Of interest is relevant documentation related to the decision to go to RFP for the National Indigenous Housing Centre. Please search all relevant record-keeping systems, including but not limited to email servers, shared drives, document management systems, and physical file storage, for responsive records. The spirit of this request is to identify instances of stakeholder engagement and understand any external influences or factors that may have contributed to the overall strategy, implementation, or decision-making process for the Indigenous National Housing Centre and the URN Indigenous Housing Strategy, particularly the choice to use an RFP process (002627).
