Request Summary: Pursuant to the Access to Information Act, I am requesting access to the following records from the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) between June 8, 2023, and January 22, 2024: 1. Any briefing notes, memos, or reports either prepared for or received from the Minister of Housing or their staff that mention the potential use of a competitive bidding, proposal, or tender process for the Indigenous National Housing Centre or the Urban, Rural and Northern Indigenous Housing Strategy. 2. The full content, including attachments, of any emails exchanged between CMHC employees and the Minister of Housing or their staff that mention the potential use of a competitive bidding, proposal, or tender process for the Indigenous National Housing Centre or the Urban, Rural and Northern Indigenous Housing Strategy. Please search all relevant record-keeping systems, including but not limited to email servers, shared drives, document management systems, and physical file storage, for responsive records. Note: The purpose of this request is to understand the factors and decision-making process that led to the choice of using an RFP for the Indigenous National Housing Centre. Please include any records that provide insight into why this approach was chosen over other potential procurement methods.
