Request Summary: Pursuant to the Access to Information Act, I would like to obtain a copy of any document (including training documents, PowerPoint decks, briefing documents, memos, presentations, guidance documents, bulletins, etc.) that deals with one or more of the following two topics: 1. It discusses the applicability of Part VII of the Official Languages Act to non-governmental entities (such as airport authorities, port authorities, Air Canada, NavCanada, or the Canadian National Railway Company). 2. It discusses any steps, policies, plans or measures taken by the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat and/or Canadian Heritage pursuant to Part VII of the Official Languages Act with respect to non-governmental entities (such as those set out above), including instances of non-compliance with Part VII by non-governmental entities. My request is specific to Part VII—I am not interested in documents that deal only with Part IV or Part V, for example. Please exclude drafts. Please exclude solicitor-client privileged materials. Please also exclude any investigation documents or reports generated by the Commissioner in the course of complaints made to the Commissioner about alleged failure to comply with Part VII. Please limit your search to documents created on or after January 1, 2021.
